Empowering Angels to build their own portfolios!

Join us in changing the face and narrative of angel investment in Africa.

About Us

Lagos Angel Network is an exclusive network of Angel Investors that aims to enable the Nigerian and broader African ecosystem by educating angel investors, helping to facilitate angel investments into promising, early-stage startups, and advocating for sustainable private and public sector policy.

We help to connect angel investors to budding, structured local opportunities.

Learning & Membership

We are helping our angel investors make the best investing decisions by writing thought-provoking reports based on data and available information.

Advocacy & Mentoring

We advocate with various stakeholders to help implement policies that help startups, founders, and investors. We also implement programs and events that help to achieve these goals.

No, LAN is not a fund. We are a non-profit organization that aims to improve angel investment across the country and continent by increasing access to and creating the infrastructure needed for safety and reliability

Since we are not a fund and are not performance based, we do not take carried interest on investments.

Yes, we charge membership, diligence, and administration fees to accepted members/institutions who come in through a warm introduction or application.

Startups are chosen according to LAN’s recommended investment thesis and, more importantly, by the thesis of our angel members. In addition, each member signifies the sectors and African geographies they are interested in, and we tailor deal choices to their taste.

LAN members also enjoy co-investment opportunities from fellow members who are leading investors in the African ecosystem.
